If given the choice, it appears that Manchester United fans would prefer to have Harry Maguire in defence than Phil Jones.
The 26-year-old was once tipped to become one of the best players to ever play for the Red Devils by then-manager Sir Alex Ferguson. However, things have not panned out that way for the former Blackburn Rovers centre-back.
Jones has struggled for form at times this season and injures have severely impacted his development at Old Trafford. Maguire, on the other hand, has gone from strength-to-strength at Leicester City and could even take the United defender’s spot in England’s starting XI for the upcoming World Cup campaign.
