Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jack Roles has signed a new contract, per Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold, to the delight of supporters.

Roles is seemingly on the verge of a first-team breakthrough in north London.

A Cyprus Under-21 international, the 20-year-old is a remarkably versatile player.

He plays primarily as an attacking midfielder but is also capable of playing as a centre-forward, a central midfielder, a defensive midfielder or as a left winger.

A real goalscoring talent, Roles scored 11 goals and laid on six assists across 29 games for the Under-23s in 2018/19, including two strikes in separate games against Inter Milan in the UEFA Youth League. He also scored once against senior opposition in the EFL Trophy, netting in the 4-0 thumping of Gillingham.

And fans are thrilled at the prospect of one of the best young talents in the academy reportedly committing his future to the club.
